A. AGREEMENT TO THESE TERMS

1. By dropping off articles at Hangout Laundry, you agree to these Conditions of Service. Use of our service constitutes acceptance of all terms below.

B. COLLECTION

1. Articles must be collected within 21 days from the date of receipt. Items not collected within this period may be disposed of or donated without notice and without compensation.
2. You must present the original digital receipt upon collection. If your receipt is lost, you must provide proof of identity and a description of the items. An administrative fee may apply.

C. FABRIC AND GARMENT RISKS

1. We are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, including: manufacturer defects; fabric weakness or thinning due to age or wear; colour fading, bleeding, or running from unstable dyes; or shrinkage inherent to the fabric.
2. Buttons, zips, beads, sequins, embellishments, and other attachments may not withstand the cleaning or pressing process. We accept no liability for damage to or loss of such items. Please remove all detachable ornaments, belts, and accessories before drop-off.

D. CURTAINS

1. Prolonged exposure to sunlight, heat, and humidity weakens curtain fabric over time. Despite reasonable care, cleaning may reveal or cause holes, tears, fabric discolouration, or shrinkage. We do not accept liability for these outcomes.
2. Please let us know the age and fabric type of your curtains at drop-off.

E. WASH-&-FOLD SERVICE

1. Wash-and-fold service is priced per load. Unless otherwise requested and paid for, all items within a load are washed together without separation by colour or fabric type.
2. By default, whites, colours, and dark fabrics are washed in a single mixed load. If you require separation, you must request this at the time of drop-off and pay the applicable top-up charge per additional load.
3. We are not liable for colour transfer, dye bleeding, staining, or discolouration of any items washed in a mixed load where separation was not requested and paid for.
4. This service includes machine washing and tumble drying. You are responsible for ensuring that items submitted are suitable for these cleaning methods and that care labels permit machine wash and tumble dry. While we take reasonable care when handling your laundry, we are not responsible for shrinkage, colour bleeding or dye transfer, fading, damage to embellishments, loose buttons, zippers, trims, or other accessories that may occur during the normal cleaning process.

F. STAIN REMOVAL

1. Stain removal is done on request only, at your own risk. Complete removal is not always possible, and treatment may alter the appearance of surrounding fabric. We are not liable for outcomes from stain removal you have requested.

G. VALUABLES AND ITEMS IN POCKETS

1. Please check all pockets and remove any cash, cards, documents, or valuables before drop-off. We are not liable for loss of or damage to any items left in garments.

H. LIABILITY AND CLAIMS

1. If we accept liability for loss or damage, our maximum compensation is 10 times the cleaning fee for that item, or S$100, whichever is lower.
2. Claims must be made within 48 hours of collection or delivery, with the original digital receipt. Claims made after this period will not be accepted.
3. All claims are assessed with fair depreciation applied for the item's age and condition. We do not compensate for sentimental value, replacement at new price, or any indirect or consequential loss.
4. Where a claim is accepted, the item becomes the property of Hangout Laundry. You cannot retain the item and receive compensation at the same time.

I. PRICING AND PAYMENT

1. For dry cleaning, laundry-per-piece and ironing services, standard turnaround is 5 to 8 working days from the date of drop-off.
2. For dry cleaning, laundry-per-piece and ironing services, express turnaround is 3 working days from the date of drop-off. Express service is subject to availability at a 50% surcharge.
3. For wash-and-fold services turnaround is 24 hours. You can collect laundry the next day with the exception of public holidays.

J. PRICING AND PAYMENT

1. Prices are as listed at the time of drop-off and may change without prior notice.
2. Full payment is due upon dropping off articles.

K. PUBLIC HEALTH

1. Please do not submit items that have been in contact with anyone suffering from an infectious or communicable disease. We reserve the right to refuse or return such items without compensation.

L. FORCE MAJEURE

1. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including equipment failure, power outage, fire, or government-mandated closures.

M. GOVERNING LAW

1. These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
