Keep your boat class-legal and perfectly trimmed for speed. These stainless steel weight kits mount on factory rails to fine-tune balance for sprint launches and marathon glide.
Why paddlers like it
- Race-legal confidence: Hit minimum class weights without guesswork.
- Trim on rails: Slide fore–aft on the weight rail to tune bow/stern balance for conditions.
- Durable & low-profile: Stainless plates resist corrosion and sit solidly through wash and wash-riding.
- Made by paddlers, for paddlers.
Compatibility
- Fits weight rails on Nelo, Plastex, Peisheng boats
- Works for sprint & marathon setups (K1/K2/C1/C2) and similar rail systems
How to use (quick start)
- Start with weights centered on the rail near the boat’s CG.
- Test:
- Bow rides high/porpoises? Shift weights forward.
- Bow plows low/takes spray? Shift weights aft.
- Lock down firmly and record the position (marker or photo) for repeatability.
Pro tips
- Re-check trim whenever you change paddler mass, hydration, or conditions.
- For rough water, a slight forward bias can help the bow track; for flat sprint starts, experiment with neutral to slightly aft.
- Use the least weight needed to meet rules—extra mass slows acceleration.
