A PADI Open Water Diver course referral allows you to undertake the majority of your scuba training at home before completing your certification dives anywhere in the world!
You will complete all the theory via PADI eLearning at your own pace before meeting us for your Course Orientation. During the Course Orientation at our dive centre, your instructor will go through a Quick Review with you so that you can clarify any questions you have about eLearning. This will be followed by a hand-on introduction to the dive gear that you will be using, including how to assemble and disassemble the scuba unit.
Following which, you will proceed to the shallow water pool located right in front of our dive centre, to do a 200m swim. This pre-requisite is to ensure that all participants are comfortable in water prior to going into the ocean. Your instructor will also introduce some scuba skills to you in in shallow water. The Course Orientation typically takes 4 to 5 hours, including the pool portion.
Your next pool session with us will be at a pool with a range of depth from 1m to 3m. This will allow you to complete Confined Water Dive #1 to Confined Water Dive #5 of your PADI Open Water Diver Course in this session, including a 10minute float. This pool session typically takes 4 to 5 hours.
