🤿 PADI Open Water Diver Course
Your Passport to the Underwater World
Have you always dreamed of exploring the ocean's depths and discovering the incredible world beneath the surface? The PADI Open Water Diver Course is your first step into the adventure of a lifetime. This globally recognised certification teaches you the fundamentals of scuba diving in a safe, supportive, and fun learning environment guided by our highly trained PADI Instructors. By the end of the course, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to dive locally or abroad and begin your journey as an ambassador for ocean conservation and exploration.
✅ Pre-Requisites
- Minimum age: 15 years (10 years for Junior Open Water Diver)
- In good physical and mental health
- Ability to swim 200 meters non-stop and float for 10 minutes unaided
- Most importantly: A love for adventure and fun!
🩺 Medical Requirement:
All students must complete the Diver Medical Participant Questionnaire.
- You must be able to answer “NO” to all questions on Page 1
- If you answer “YES” to any item, a doctor’s clearance on Page 3 is required

📘 Course Overview: 4 Steps to Certification
🧠 Step 1: Dive Theory (Online Learning)
Start your scuba journey from home with PADI eLearning, which covers dive theory, safety concepts, and equipment knowledge at your own pace.
- Estimated total time: ~15 hours
- Includes 5 knowledge reviews, 4 quizzes and a final exam
🏫 Step 2: Orientation Session (Classroom + Pool)
After eLearning, meet your PADI Instructor for a 5-hour orientation session:
- Review dive theory and complete a quick review
- Learn scuba gear setup and breakdown
- Take your 200m swim assessments
- Enjoy your first pool session with introduction to basic scuba skills
💧 Step 3: Confined Water Training
Get comfortable underwater through 5 confined water dives, conducted either in a swimming pool or pool-like conditions.
- Duration: ~5 hours
- Learn and master scuba diving skills in a controlled setting
🌍 Step 4: Open Water Dives
The real adventure begins! Over 2 days, you'll complete 4 Open Water dives in local waters.
- Practice and reinforce your skills from confined water sessions
- Dive under real-world conditions
- Upon successful completion, you’ll be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver
