PADI Eco Divemaster Course
Go professional. Stay city-based. Make every dive count.
Turn your love for the ocean into the skills to lead, teach and inspire others.
We are the only PADI Eco Centre and Green Fins Member in Singapore at the moment. Our PADI Eco Divemaster Course in Singapore combines professional dive training with hands-on ocean conservation. Build your confidence as a dive leader, earn three PADI AWARE specialty certifications, and put your learning into practice in local waters. This is done over a two- to six-month training journey.
Your open water training begins with an included 2-day, 2-night liveaboard in Singapore: a focused learning experience with your fellow candidates and instructors, aboard a comfortable boat.
With Singapore’s Southern Islands newly recognised as a Mission Blue Hope Spot, there is even more reason to discover, understand and help protect the marine life close to home.

Professional Training, Close to Home
You do not have to relocate to a remote dive destination to begin your professional diving journey. Our Singapore-based programme lets you develop your skills over time while staying connected to work, family and everyday life.
You will learn to supervise diving activities, assist instructors with student divers, deliver clear skill demonstrations, map dive sites and strengthen your rescue abilities. Alongside these practical skills, you will develop the dive theory knowledge, judgement and professional conduct expected of a PADI Divemaster.
The PADI Divemaster rating is your first professional qualification—and a stepping stone towards becoming a PADI Instructor.
Your Liveaboard Kickoff: Two Days and Two Nights of Focused Learning
Every Divemaster batch begins its open water training together on a 2D2N liveaboard in Singapore.
Think of it as a supportive Divemaster bootcamp, with the comfort of a liveaboard. Spend dedicated time learning under the guidance of your instructors, working alongside your fellow candidates and building confidence as a team.
It is an opportunity to immerse yourself in training, ask questions and begin putting your professional skills into practice.
The liveaboard is included in your course fee. The usual price for fun divers is S$890 per person.
Three Conservation Certifications Included
Conservation is woven into your training. Alongside your PADI Divemaster qualification, you will earn three PADI AWARE specialty certifications at no extra cost:
PADI AWARE Specialty
Explore the major threats facing the ocean and the practical actions divers and non-divers can take to help.
PADI Dive Against Debris Specialty
Learn to conduct underwater debris surveys, safely remove suitable marine debris and report data that supports conservation efforts.
PADI Shark & Ray Conservation Specialty
Build your understanding of sharks and rays, the threats they face, and how identification, surveys and responsible diving can support their protection.
Develop the knowledge and practical experience to bring conservation into your dive briefings, conversations and future work as a dive professional.
Start with Our Monthly Ocean Conservation Days
Our monthly Ocean Conservation Days offer the PADI Dive Against Debris and PADI Shark & Ray Conservation specialties. It is an easy and practical way to get involved and begin your conservation learning.
Both specialties are included at no extra cost for our Eco Divemaster candidates.
Already completed either or both of these courses with us within the past three months? The full amount you paid for the eligible course or courses will be offset against your Eco Divemaster course fee.
Your conservation learning becomes part of your professional journey.

- Divemaster-Conducted Programmes

Step 2: Confined Water Training
Your course includes four confined water sessions, conducted in a pool. Each session takes approximately six hours.
These sessions develop your demonstration skills, watermanship, rescue abilities and confidence in supporting student divers.
For Practical Assessment 1, the session must include either at least one real Open Water Diver student or four mock students.
Additional pool sessions, if required, will be chargeable at S$ 150 per pool session per candidate (2 or more candidates) or S$ 180 per pool (1-to-1). Each pool will take about 6 hours.
Step 3: Open Water Training
Begin with your included 2D2N Singapore liveaboard, then continue developing your skills through local open water training.
Your course includes six open water sessions. Progress depends on meeting the performance requirements, so the number of dives needed may vary between candidates.
Practical assessments require suitable student participation: either at least one real Open Water Diver student or four mock students. The number of assessment items completed on each trip will depend on the training arrangements, number of candidates and individual performance.
