21 November 2026 Ocean Conservation: 2-in-1 PADI AWARE Specialty for Ocean Conservation! š¦š¤æ
Join The Submersibles for a morning of diving with a purpose and turn your love for the ocean into action.
Our regular Ocean Conservation Days bring divers together to learn, contribute to citizen science and help protect Singaporeās marine environment. This November, you can take part in two PADI specialties: Dive Against DebrisĀ® and Shark & Ray Conservation. Choose one, complete both, or join a guided clean-up dive if you already have the relevant experience.
Why we keep showing up
During our July edition, we encountered a blacktip reef shark that had died after becoming trapped in a ghost net. It was a heartbreaking reminder of the harm abandoned fishing gear can cause and why every effort to protect our waters matters. Read the story https://www.instagram.com/p/Dc21iSjjJaF
In September, Janessa Yang, Miss International Singapore, joined us and rolled up her sleeves for ocean conservation. Active in volunteering, conservation and sustainability initiatives, Janessa brought that same hands-on spirit to our clean-up dives. See her experience here.
In October, we welcomed Gurmit Singh, the much-loved comedian best known for playing Phua Chu Kang. He kept everyone on board in stitches, bringing plenty of laughter to a day of diving and cleaning up our waters. It was a wonderful reminder that caring for the ocean can be a lot of fun, especially with great company!
This November, itās your turn to join us. Come dive with purpose, meet like-minded ocean lovers and help care for Singaporeās marine environment.
