Beyond music, Glen is a quiet observer of life and everything he makes is evidence of that.

For him, a song is never the starting point. It is what remains after he has sat long enough with an experience to understand what it is truly made of:

the residue of a life being examined honestly.

His body of work reads as a vulnerable timeline of a real human being navigating the quiet shifts between pain and peace, shaped as much by the atmospheric honesty of Wong Kar-Wai’s cinematography and the solitary urban realism of Edward Hopper as by his musical lineage of Leon Bridges, Ben Howard, and D'Angelo.

Where others perform, Glen confesses. Where others compose, Glen excavates.

This "sonic journal" approach transforms each release into a shared act of reflection, proving that he is first a student of life, and second, an artist who finds the courage to share the notes.

That interior life finds its fullest expression in his newest EP, Red Room Archive, consisting of four tracks that function as journal entries, documenting the messy, unglamorous process of moving through loss toward something quieter. Not resolution. More like acceptance.

By stripping away the polish of performative musicianship, Glen invites his audience to experience each track not as a melodic art piece, but as an unguarded page from a diary: the actual "shades of blue" and entanglements of a life caught in motion.

Formally trained at the Australian Institute of Music in Melbourne, Glen's sound carries a harmonic richness that quietly underlies its simplicity: rooted in cinematic indie soul, folk warmth, and neo-soul depth, with arrangements layered with strings and horns that give his recorded work an orchestral intimacy rarely heard in the independent scene.

In live settings, this interior world becomes something unrepeatable where his jazz and R&B fluency build entire sonic landscapes alone through looping,

layering and improvisation, each performance existing once and never again.

Glen released his debut album Sounds in the City with Warner Music Singapore, with original compositions placed in campaigns for Decathlon and on the soundtrack of Michelle Chong's film, Three Peas in a Pod.

He has performed at the Australian Tennis Open, Singapore and Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix, St Kilda Festival, Esplanade showcases, and Sofar Sounds sessions across Melbourne and Singapore, bringing the same quality of presence to a room of twenty as he does to a festival stage.

Glen is not merely here to entertain. He is here to document and in doing so, to remind the listener that their own story is worth examining too.
