Karo is originally from Borneo and now based in Kuala Lumpur. Working primarily in oil pastel and acrylic, her practice is shaped by years of solo hiking and bikepacking through remote terrains. Her expressive, near-abstract landscapes prioritize emotion and memory over specific locations, using atmosphere to examine human scale within the vastness of nature.
