Originating from Zunyi in Guizhou, the heartland of China’s most prestigious baijiu production, Zhen Jiu (珍酒) is a leading producer of sauce-aroma (酱香型) baijiu, a style revered for its depth, structure, and ageing potential. Established in 1975, the distillery was built within one of the country’s most important baijiu terroirs—where climate, water, and microbial ecosystems combine to create spirits of exceptional complexity.

Crafted using traditional solid-state fermentation with “qu” (曲) and sorghum as the primary grain, Zhen Jiu follows the classical, labour-intensive production cycle of top-tier sauce-aroma baijiu. Multiple rounds of fermentation and distillation are followed by extended ageing and careful blending, resulting in a spirit defined by layered aromatics, savoury depth, and a long, persistent finish.
